Getting people to respond to your offer means presenting your offer to the right people.
For example, would you try selling fruit to a group of people looking to buy vegetables? Well, if you did you'd probably get a really low response to your offer.
It's the same concept with marketing your fitness business. You wouldn't want to sell bodybuilding products to a person looking to lose weight.
You need to know what niche or group of people you are targeting before you set up your marketing campaign. You should know if it's the weight loss market, bodybuilding market, athletic market, over 40 market, etc.
Once you know your niche you can tailor your marketing campaign to target that specific group of people.
When you have identified your target market, your next step will be to understand what problems they face. When you figure this out, the last step will be come up with a solution to that problem.
Knowing this information will help you create an effective marketing campaign that gets results. Lets' take a look at the example below:
Jon decides to set up an advertising campaign and puts out a bunch of flyers saying "Personal Training by Jon, $45 per session" He gets a few responses back, but nothing worth noting. Not happy about the response, he takes the advice I give him in this post.
Jon decides to now target a tighter market as his last campaign was too broad. He targets the weight loss market. He now moves on to the next step, Figuring out what problem they face. He figures out one problem they face is sticking to a diet. So from this he titles all his marketing Pieces "How to Lose Weight without Dieting". Now his phone is ringing of the hook.
This is actually a real life example of how to get people to respond to your offer. Today people to do not buy services ,they buy solutions. If you can show and prove to them you have a solution to the problem they face you put yourself in a position to win their business.
To get more people to respond to your offer..Sell solutions, Sell benefits to a targeted market and you will see a better return from your marketing efforts both offline and online.
Testing
Marketing is all about testing. You will need to test a few advertising pieces to see which pulls the most responses for you. Try sending out 2 different versions of the same offer and track the response of both. This will tell you what advertising piece you should focus more on.
