Nail Technician Jobs - If you've been reading this blog then you know that I preach being different, creating ambiance, and creating an experience for generating repeat business month after month. If you're new to this blog, then please read more posts when you get time. There's a lot of useful info to help you grow and profit in your nail tech business.
If you don't have your own nail salon and you are looking for a salon to work out of, then try to look for salons that have these 3 qualities: Different, has a great Ambiance and creates a client Experience at each visit , I'll call this D.A.E . These salons will ultimately make you more money in the long run.
Nail salon owners that understand marketing strategies and what it takes to be successful realize that if they create this kind of nail shop their nail techs will make money, which in turn will make them money.
Look for nail shops that go beyond the typical and normal nail shop. I'm not saying you have to work at the most expensive shop in town. What I am saying is, as you look for nail technician jobs, think of your clients. Ask yourself, does this nail salon have the potential to help me make money? Can I really be creative, and use the salon and it's amenities to my advantage.
Today people are looking for more bang for their buck and if you can give it to them you will have plenty of repeat clients that will keep you in business for years to come!

Hi Esther! First off, thanks for stopping by my site. You are on the right path with branding yourself!
To answer your question, if you are just starting out, you may want to work in a salon to get your "feet wet" and learn the ins and out of running a salon before you jump into your own. There's a lot to take on when running your own shop and it would do you good to learn the ropes first.
Just keep in mind each day you go in, you are not there working for someone else forever. You are there only to learn how to run your own business.
I hope you enjoy Boot Camp and see all the possibilities of really making money doing what you love to do!
You can do it! Keep your eye on the prize!
