Nail Techs, whether you work in a nail salon, beauty salon or at home, one important element I stress to my readers trying to make money in there business is to be different. Ask yourself... what are you doing differently than any other nail tech going after the same clientele? Why would a customer come to me versus going to another nail tech?
It is very important that you stand out from all the other nail tech's and not blend in. Everyone is doing airbrush designs, freehand nail art designs, gel nails, & pink and white! What are you doing that's different??? You want to set yourself and your business up to be the "Go To" person when folks want to get their nails done because you offer the best service and give more bang for the buck!
Set yourself apart by doing the things other nail tech 's are not doing. Set up a website and display your work and your services, offer a free hand or foot massage every other visit, serve a beverage while they wait, offer a punch card system for a free manicure on the 12th visit, give a free handout on nail health or how to care for nails after every visit. The idea is to be different.
